Johan Cruijff Arena was opened in 1996 in Amsterdam-Zuidoost, this new Ajax stadium marked the end of matches held at another iconic Ajax venue: the Olympic Stadium. The ArenA has a capacity of over 55,000 spectators, making it the largest stadium in the Netherlands. Since its opening in 1996, the stadium has been renowned for its architecture and its first retractable roof in Europe. The Amsterdam ArenA quickly became an icon of sport and entertainment in Amsterdam.
After the passing of the legendary number 14, the Amsterdam ArenA was renamed in 2018 to the Johan Cruijff ArenA, in honor of his extraordinary contribution to international football. One of the highlights of the stadium was the final of Euro 2000, where Didier Decamps for France was finally able to present the Henri Delaunay Cup to Europe. Our unique miniature honors the architecture by replicating every element with precision, from the unique roof structure to the distinctive silhouette of the stadium. Our miniature stadium is a tribute to the history of the arena, capturing the unforgettable moments that took place within its walls.

Stadiums For Ants uses advanced LED techniques to realistically light their miniature stadiums. The field lighting is provided by precise (white) LED spotlights, creating a lifelike appearance on the field. Around the stadium, diffused ambient lighting creates a natural, atmospheric glow. The entire setup runs efficiently on 5 volts and is powered directly via a wall adapter, ensuring stable and safe energy supply.
Maintenance:
- Frame – Clean with a dry cloth, no cleaning products
- Cover – Clean with glass cleaner. Always remove the cover before cleaning
- Stadium – Do not clean the stadium itself, it will stay clean under the cover.
Conditions
The miniature stadiums of Stadiums for Ants are made to order and by hand. These stadiums are qualified as artworks, not as user products. Because of this, we do not offer a warranty period. The model might differ slightly from the product picture due to the availability of the materials and the handmade nature of the product. Despite our thorough checks, small imperfections can occur.
